Telephone Receptionist
ABOUT THE JOB
EEC Hardware is currently looking for a Telephone Receptionist, preferably familiar with the building materials or DIY. The candidate is expected to be a great communicator, goal orientated and great at building relationships with existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration and will have impecable organisation, assisting our customers in a timely manner.
General responsibilities would be as follows;
- Assisting our existing in day-to-day administration.
- Use of email and telephone for contacting suppliers and customers.
- Comfortable working with and documenting invoices and quotations
- Learn the products and services offered, including the sales terms
As the role IS entry-level, previous experience is desired but not essential.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an organised and experienced candidate that will proactively ensure strong time management. The ideal candidate will also possess moderate interpersonal skills, ensuring that any issues can be dealt with in a respectable manner.
Essential
- Computer literacy skills with sending emails.
- A strong ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor.
- Organisation is essential to maintaining efficency and time management.
Desired
- Previous experience in a fast paced office environment
- Previous experience in handling digital customer service via email or phone.
- Knowledge of the Hardware and DIY industry
ABOUT US
EEC Hardware is a hardware and homeware store situated in Balbriggan. We have a recently opened Café based directly in the building that offers our employees discounted, fresh and homemade food. Employees can be given uniforms designed to handle a warehouse environment while also providing free on-site parking for all employees. For this specific role, you will have your own desk near our Trade Counter.
