Christmas Delivery Preface;

The below policy has been constructed and written in consideration of our customers and in accordance with EEC Hardware's limitations over the busy Christmas period. All customers are encouraged to be aware of their rights, and also our Limitations in regard to; Stock ordering, Courier Availability, & Returns/Exchanges.

We are taking each enquiry on a case-by-case basis as stock availability, locations, and supplier cooperation may vary depending on the proximity to the below Christmas Cut Off's.

Guaranteed Christmas Delivery | All Suppliers | Ending December 16th

The final date for Guaranteed Christmas Delivery has been set as the close of the online department, 16:00 or 4pm, Monday the 16th of December. This delivery cut off extends to all orders placed after this time, as a majority of EEC Hardware suppliers will no longer be available for ordering stock. Despite the cut off, we will still be working diligently on fulfilling all orders possible until the final cut off where our couriers are no longer available. 

• Any orders outstanding or currently in progress will receive updates about estimated delivery dates. All current refunds and queries will continue to be processed and investigated, although customers may be informed of stocking issues after December 16th regarding replacements or exchanges.
• To ensure Christmas Delivery, please ensure any returns, replacements or exchanges are made aware to EEC Hardware prior to the 16th of December. Any returns, replacements or exchanges after this period may not be guaranteed for Christmas delivery. All customers of this type will be notified of our current availability.
• Out of consideration for our customers and staff, all items ordered that are BREAKABLE after December 16th will be withheld from the remaining shipments. Ensure all BREAKABLE products, including Glass, Ceramics, Acrylics, are ordered BEFORE December 16th.

Final Christmas Cut Off | All Couriers | Ending December 23th

The final date for all deliveries has been set as the close of the online department, 16:00 or 4pm, Monday the 23rd of December. Any orders placed after this time are not available for delivery prior to Christmas, regardless of available stock or store proximity. Despite the cut off, EEC Hardware online staff will continue to work to reserve and 'pick' any items placed on order to be delivered at the soonest available date. 

All refunds, replacements or exchanges will be 'paused' after this period due to the unavailability of any couriers. Please ensure that all returns, replacements or exchanges are made aware to the business before December 16th.

Fees & Timescales

• Nationwide Deliveries placed before 2pm are often next day delivery. We encourage all customers to check emails as we will contact customers of delivery status. 
• Bulky Items may incur additional shipping charges, at €16.99. 
• Pallet Delivery is available for specific products at a price of €69.99. We recommend customers enquire before placing Pallet Deliveries.
  
• Local Delivery items are only eligible for delivery Within Dublin or up to 35kmm radius from the stores location, in Balbriggan, North County Dublin.

Free Delivery Policy;

EEC Hardware offers Free Delivery over €99 for all standard products available in our catalogue, with specific exclusions listed below.

• This offer is NOT AVAILABLE FOR IN-STORE PURCHASES. Any orders placed in-store are subject to the in-store delivery fees and policy. For information regarding your order, please get in touch with our Trade Counter to speak with your Sales Consultant, at 01 841 1977.
• Exclusions include; Products listed as Bulky, Products listed as Oversized, Products available for Collection Only. 
  
• Returns & Refunds; If an order is returned via DPD Collection from a customer, the customer will be required to pay a €6.99 change of mind fee. This fee, if the offer has been applied, will instead be deducted from the order total. 

Delivery Information

Destinations

• Nationwide: EEC Hardware will delivery to any address within the Republic of Ireland, using an Third Party Courier. Orders are picked and processed Monday to Friday, with orders that are in-stock being shipped same day if ordered before 2pm. Nationwide delivery often takes between 1 - 3 working days in addition to any specified leadtime. 
  • Please Note: Specified products are not available for Nationwide delivery due to shipping constraints. These products will be labelled "Local Delivery Only" and will not allowed Standard shipping. 
• Local Delivery: EEC Hardware offers local delivery through our internal drivers. This service is only available within Dublin and 30km from the store location in Balbriggan. Products specified with "Local Delivery Only" are not available to ship outside of Dublin due to constraints with Third Party couriers.
• Notifications: EEC Hardware will contact any customers any customers regarding delays or orders awaiting stock. We will notify you by automated email once your order has been dispatched.
• Enquiries: EEC Hardware has partnered with several Couriers that can offer delivery of oversized items outside of Dublin. Delivery prices are dependent on several factors, and must be quoted through a sales repesentative.

Notes

• Online Deliveries are only available to be processed from Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm. Orders outside this timeframe will be processed on the next working day. 
• Online collections are available Monday - Friday, excluding Saturedays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Please allowed 1 working day for processing Click & Collect orders. 
• We reserve the right to cancel & refund any orders that contradict our Delivery Policy, particularly regarding undeliverable items outside of our Local Delivery Range. 
• Products may be subject to incorrect delivery information, due to either human error or recent issues that may affect delivery options. We ask for our customers patience and understanding while processing, and will accomodate a customers order to the extent of the companies ability. 
• Lead-time on a product screen refers to the time it will take for that item to come into stock. This may affect an orders overall delivery time as the lead-time is dependent on supplier availability. 
  • For Example: Bathroom & Workwear products are Bought to Order on average, as we do not carry the entire catalogues stock in-store. These sections will be subject to unique lead-time expectations and subsequently an extended delivery period. 

Collections available Monday - Friday, Excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays. 

• Don’t want to wait for delivery? Place your order online and collect it in store at Stephenstown Industrial Estate, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin completely FREE of charge!
• When ordering, select the Click & Collect option and a member of staff will notify you via email or phone as soon as the product is prepared. Collections are not available on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
• Click & Collect orders are held for up to 14 days after the order is placed and customer is contacted. During this time, we will attempt to contact the customer in regard to their online order. If there is no response after 14 days, we will cancel the order and process a refund. 

Same Day Collection Policy*

EEC Hardware does not offer Same Day Collections across all product ranges, as this is subject to stock availability. All collections are processed upon receipt and the customer will be contacted within 1 - 2  business day of the order being placed.
